Named after the port it ships from not some romantic backstory, just where it left the country. Naturally processed, dried inside the fruit, so the natural sugars have time to work their way into the bean before roasting even starts.
Screen 17/18 a proper premium grade, not the cheap stuff.
Bigger, more even beans mean more even roasting, which means what's in your cup actually reflects what we intended. Plenty of roasters cut costs on screen size. We don't.
Brazil grows roughly a third of the world's coffee more than anywhere else on earth.
Most of it, this included, comes off flat land and gets machine-harvested.
That's not a shortcut, and we're not going to pretend it is. It's exactly what makes this coffee consistent and affordable the reason it's been the backbone of espresso blends worldwide for decades. No manufactured mystique needed.
Natural processing means the fruit sugars soak into the bean before drying, which is where that heavy body and dense chocolate-peanut character comes from, alongside a low, easy acidity. Reliable, honest, does exactly what it says.
