Most roasters bury the robusta, we put it on the label.
We know robusta gets a bad name from cheap, badly-roasted stuff... that's not on us. Used right, it brings body, chocolate depth and a creaminess arabica can't do alone.
That's why it's in here, just less of it this time.
This is the expensive one, and it's expensive for a reason.
80% arabica, split evenly between two of the best origins Ethiopia & Colombia.
Where our other blends lean on robusta for backbone...
this one leans on origin quality the kind of beans that don't need much help to taste complex.
Colombia brings a strong, clean sweetness with real kick.
Ethiopia adds winey, fruity undertones you won't find in a typical dark roast.
Most roasters push that character out at this roast level, we didn't.
The 20% Ugandan robusta is still doing its job: chocolate depth, body, the thing that stops a dark roast from tasting thin.

Dark chocolate up front, winey complexity underneath, a fruity acidity that cuts through instead of hiding. Sweet, with a real kick.
